چکیده

One of the most useful indicators relative dispersion is coefficient variation. The characteristics variation have contributed to its widespread use in scientific and academic disciplines, with real life applications. traditional estimators are based on conventional moments; therefore, these highly affected by presence extreme values. In this article, we develop some novel calibration-based for study variable under double stratified random sampling (DSRS) using robust features linear (L TL) moments, which offer appropriate estimates. To evaluate usefulness proposed estimators, a simulation performed three populations out one COVID-19 pandemic data set other two apple fruit sets. efficiency respect existing has been calculated. superiority suggested over clearly validated

Calibration approach estimators in stratified sampling

Calibration is commonly used in survey sampling to include auxiliary information to increase the precision of the estimates of population parameter. In this paper, we newly propose various calibration approach ratio estimators and derive the estimator of the variance of the calibration approach ratio estimators in stratified sampling. r 2006 Elsevier B.V. Jackknife Estimation of Sampling Variance of Ratio Estimators in Complex Samples: Bias and the Coefficient of Variation

A multitude of methods has been proposed to estimate the sampling variance of ratio estimates in complex samples (Wolter, 1985). Hansen and Tepping (1985) studied some of those variance estimators and found that a high coefficient of variation (CV) of the denominator of a ratio estimate is indicative of a biased estimate of the standard error of a ratio estimate. Using the same populations, Kov...

Separate Ratio-type Estimators of Population Mean in Stratified Random Sampling

Separate ratio-type estimators for population mean with their properties are considered. Some separate ratio-type estimators for population mean using known parameters of auxiliary variate are proposed. The bias and mean squared error of the proposed estimators are obtained up to the first degree of approximation. It is shown that the proposed estimators are more efficient than unbiased estimat...

Scalable Simple Random Sampling and Stratified Sampling

Analyzing data sets of billions of records has now become a regular task in many companies and institutions. In the statistical analysis of those massive data sets, sampling generally plays a very important role. In this work, we describe a scalable simple random sampling algorithm, named ScaSRS, which uses probabilistic thresholds to decide on the fly whether to accept, reject, or wait-list an...

Dual to Ratio cum Product Estimators of Finite Population Mean Using Auxiliary Attribute(s) in Stratified Random Sampling

The problem of estimating the population mean in un-stratified sampling strategies to estimate the finite the presence of an auxiliary variable has been widely discussed in finite population sampling literature [1], suggested a class of estimators of the population mean using one auxiliary variable in the stratified random sampling and examined the MSE of the estimators up to the kth order of a...
